Torrington United Methodist Church is hosting an Easter Sunrise Service at 6am.

Torrington United Methodist is located at 2702 Main St. in Torrington.

“Join us as we greet the dawn and celebrate the good news of Easter at our Sunrise Service.

We will gather outside on the front lawn of the church in the quiet of the early morning as the sun rises, remembering the women who came to the tomb at daybreak and discovered that Christ had risen.

This simple and meaningful service will include Scripture, prayer, hymns, and a short reflection as we welcome the light of Easter morning together.

Because the service will be held outdoors, please dress warmly and appropriately for the weather. Early April mornings can be chilly! If the weather is too cold or severe, we will move the service inside the sanctuary.

All are welcome to come and begin Easter morning together in worship and celebration.
