The area’s only true local Christian radio station
The radio station went on the air in 1981 serving mainly Terrytown, Scottsbluff and Gering. In the late 1980s, KCMI received a major boost in power and listenership as it became a 100,000-watt station. KCMI now serves an area roughly bounded by Sidney, Oshkosh, Hay Springs, Nebraska and Lingle, Wyoming to the west.
Established in 1996, the Christian community has relied upon Cross Times as a printed source of Christian information in Western Nebraska and Eastern Wyoming. With information about Christian events, music, churches, and some of the interesting people in our area, our goal at Christian Media Incorporated is to keep Cross Times current and relevant, as well as inspirational.
In this new online version of Cross Times, we hope you will continue to enjoy articles featuring local Christian events and activities, as well as other information that is relevant to the Christian community.
